In the grand Central Hall of the Noble Floor, among candlelight, opera arias and theatrical performances, you’ll relive the splendor of 18th-century Venetian nobility. A period costume is mandatory — every detail contributes to an atmosphere suspended between reality and dream.

Each year, noble palaces on the Grand Canal host masked balls to honor Venice’s centuries-old Carnival tradition. But the Carnival in Love Grand Ball is more than a party — it’s a journey into the romantic and sensual soul of Venice. A night that celebrates love in all its forms: trust, friendship, complicity, passion.

On February 14th, 2026, Cupid’s arrows will strike at the heart of Carnival. Jugglers, illusionists, live music, dancing and gourmet delights will accompany you through an unforgettable night of fantasy and freedom.

The Carnival in Love Grand Ball invites you to break the rules, discover hidden facets of yourself and experience something truly extraordinary in the world’s most dreamlike city.

One of the most anticipated events of this Carnival takes place in the magnificent Palazzo Zeno (Ca’ Zen), in the Dorsoduro district, about 20 minutes’ walk from St. Mark’s Square or the Rialto Bridge.
Every year in Venice, historic palaces and Grand Canal hotels host masquerade balls that pay homage to the city’s centuries-old Carnival tradition. The Carnival in Love Grand Ball is the jewel of this secret, enchanting world.
The Magic of the Ball
The 2026 edition celebrates the theme of Love, a word symbolic of trust, friendship, complicity and playful glances. On Saturday, February 14, 2026, Carnival becomes a celebration of transformation. Cupid’s love will sweep your senses into a night of elegance and folly. Jugglers, magic, music, great food and unrestrained fun will accompany guests until late at night.
Wearing a mask and a period costume means stepping into the euphoric, lively, and enchanted Venice of the 1700s. The Carnival in Love Grand Ball is a thrilling experience that blends show, history and gastronomy.

Entertainment is carefully curated to immerse and amaze:
Scenic welcome with artists in the external courtyard (weather permitting)
Itinerant performances during dinner
Grand stage shows in the Central Hall with international performers and Commedia dell’Arte
At midnight, the night turns into a party: open bar and DJ set until late.

After the welcome cocktail at 8:00 PM, a refined four-course dinner inspired by Mediterranean tradition will be served at 9:00 PM, accompanied by selected wines. Food allergies must be communicated when purchasing the ticket.

One of the most special moments is choosing your costume: after purchasing your ticket, you’ll receive an email from the atelier to submit your measurements and choose from over 100 handcrafted models. Fittings will take place at the atelier in the San Marco area.
The rental normally lasts 24 hours but can be extended for a photoshoot in the calli or a final parade in St. Mark’s Square. The costume will be delivered to your accommodation on the day of the event and picked up the next day.

Women: full dress, underskirt/pannier, bag, gloves, collar
Men: complete outfit with shirt, lace, shoes, stockings, and tricorn (if included)
Not included: wigs and masks (must be purchased separately for hygienic reasons)

Allergies must be reported at the time of booking. Photos and videos will be taken for promotional purposes. Guests may notify Sogno Veneziano Atelier if they do not wish to appear.

All seats are reserved and assigned based on the package purchased. Cupid tables (1–2) are front stage and offer the best view.
