The Venue
The Salone del Ridotto is a legendary venue: it was the first public gambling hall in Europe, frequented by aristocrats, diplomats and Giacomo Casanova himself.Originally, the Ridotto was established in 1638 as the first publicly sanctioned casino in Europe; it was located in this very wing of Palazzo DandoloToday, restored to its original 18th-century splendor, it hosts the 27th edition of the Ballo Tiepolo, one of the most prestigious events of the Venice Carnival, celebrating love in all its forms on Valentine’s Day.

A fully immersive theatrical experience. Costumed performers bring dramatic and artistic performances to life among the dinner tables, accompanied by a period-dressed orchestra. Music, dance, singing, acrobatics, and visual storytelling make this evening a true feast for the senses. Guests become the protagonists, dancing in group sets guided by professional Dance Masters.
Evening Schedule
- 7:50 PM: Guest check-in
- 8:00 PM: Welcome aperitif in the Ridotto Hall
- 9:00 PM: Seated dinner with performances between courses
- 10:30 PM: Historical group dances with live orchestra and instructors
- 12:30 AM: End of event

- SUPERIOR Category: More refined designs with pearls, embroidery and high-quality details

- Women: dress, petticoat/pannier, bag, choker, base accessories
- Men: full outfit with shirt, jabot, tights, shoe bows
- Not included: masks, wigs, capes, special shoes (optional)
- Rental duration: 1 day (extendable on request)
